  Joe and his team have completed two jobs for us and I couldn't be happier. Joe is a landscape and hardscape artist who is not only passionate about his work, but also about equipping his clients with knowledge. He takes the time to fully investigate the best options for his clients, presents his designs explaining details and choices, and takes the time with his clients time while they process and ask questions. The first project was supposed to be "fixing" a poorly installed firepit. Joe politely informed us that we should probably consider starting from scratch and explained why. He had the vision to build the new firepit in a lower location and repurpose stones from our front yard to build steps and place accent stones in the landscape design. Check out the attached photos!!! The second job was to build a dry river bed to help direct rain run off. What he designed and his team implemented is functional ART!!!! Check out the attached pictures!! For both jobs, Joe's team worked diligently and respectfully cleaning up the area after each day and leaving our yard looking better than when they arrived. Joe is honest, hard working, respectful, attentive, and generous. His team clearly respects him and his clients equally. Joe has taken extra time to teach me about landscape and plant choices for projects I am attempting to do on my own. I am beyond thankful for Runde's Landscape Contractors and I fully recommend them for any project.

  My experience with Runde's Landscape is so positive, I have to tell you what I love about Joe! He really does create value, not only in your view, but how you live and move through your yard. We first asked him for help with a crumbling driveway and sinking front stoop. Joe came up with a beautiful design, rolled with our changes to add on a curved wall and now we love that there is space to open the car door without stepping off! Then we hosted a backyard wedding, and we knew we had to call him and his team back. They worked so hard, cleaned up all the debris and definitely exceeded our expectations! Joe merged two disconnected areas with rocks and plants around our pool, raised our air conditioner unit, added an underground drain off a downspout for better drainage and overall provided a lovely combination of flowers, trees and greenery! Joe talks another language, he knows all the names of everything that grows and what will be a match for your lifestyle. He really cares how you will care for the plants and explains how to care everything, plus he backs them up!

  I interviewed 4 companies to do my patio and landscape for my new home. I am thrilled I selected Runde Landscape as my contractor, Joe Runde is an artist! He got inside my head and provided a plan, landscape design, and stone selection that exceeded my expectations. When I decided to add items to the drawing or change landscape months into the process he easily accepted or told me where I might be making a mistake. It was an amazing collaborative process I will never forget, I felt like he was Big Brother watching over the details. His foreman Jorge was my hero through all the construction. Most appreciated was how they respected my yard, home and neighbors through the whole process.   Runde’s just completed installing a new patio and privacy screen for us. This is the second time we have used them as the same team installed a fire pit for me about 10 years back. I can’t say enough great things about the whole experience. Joe was extremely helpful with the plan and the pricing was more than fair. Jorge and team did a wonderful job with the install making it look better than expected. The process was great from beginning to end. I would highly recommend them for any work needing done.
