Great service, decent pricing, actually shows up to their appointments, not like the other company I waited around an hour for! Called them after another company didn't show up. They came right over for the estimate & the next day to clear the large 4 trees in our yard! After a horrible storm we had a nightmare! They happily took care of everything! Awesome company to work with. Recently (August 2024) our area got hit with some very high winds resulting in downed limbs etc. A friend recommend Sunset Tree Service so I gave them a call around 10:00 in the morning to see if they could come over and give me a quote. David got to our house around lunch time and provided a quote on the spot and the pricing was reasonable. My next question was "When?" , he called his crew who were finishing up another job and David responded with, "they are on the way". Within hours they had everything cut down, chipped up, and cleanup. VERY FAST, VERY EFFICIENT CREW!!! It is very clear they have a lot of experience in what they do which explains the reasonable pricing - they know what they are doing. They would not accept payment until the job was completely finished (they needed to come back to grind up a few stumps). This is one of the few times in my life where a crisis management of a problem went as smooth as anyone could hope for. Thanks to the folks at Sunset Tree Service, it has been a pleasure doing business!

Review of Sunset Tree service. This service is fantastic. Our home in Lake in the Hills is extremely wooded and after we moved in, we found out that many of the trees were overgrown. Although the trees appeared beautiful, they began experiencing failure. Thanks to Dave Bures the Arborist he set up a plan to thin out the trees and to ensure the remaining trees stay healthy. He is responsive and extremely helpful. Recently our property was hit by a micro-burst that caused significant debris and damage to 2 large trees. Dave came immediately out as soon as we called and then had a crew there the next day removing the debris and the trees that were unsafe. He and his team are excellent.
